This is a drawing of an object that will be part of the installation. The installation will open in July 2012 and will consist of dressers and each drawer in the dresser will have junk drawer items in them.

I wanted to create a drawer for my grandmother Marguerite. I remember being in her room maybe a half dozen times growing up and I specifically recall  buttons and gloves in her drawer. She kept some of her boys things from the military (WW2), and I imagine dog tags might have been one of those items. For the drawer, I also included my father’s training flight book and a telegram she received from the Army concerning my father.
