This is a drawing of an object that will be part of the installation. The installation will open in July 2012 and will consist of dressers and each drawer in the dresser will have junk drawer items in them.
I was fortunate to have a job at an orthodontist office with my sister before I started college. I worked in the lab where we made plaster casts of teeth for the doctors to help aid them in their diagnosis and treatment for the patients. It was oddly fun, and weirdly Sherlocky. I wore a white lab coat and made teeth casts. One day I had some extra mold and plaster. What’s a girl to do but make a cast of her pinkie?
That sounds like an interesting job…can’t say I’ve met someone who has done that, well besides the people at my orthodontist.
It was a fun job to have right after high school. I did lot’s of pretending that it was high tech lab.
