When I started this blog in December I said it was official. Now the project is REALLY official. I received an invitation to the awards ceremony at Roxbury Arts Center in March. As I read through the letter, I noticed it states I must make a little speech when the grant is presented. This should interesting. I’m very funny with my friends, but in front of people I’m quite shy. I find it hard to talk about my work. Any tips on staying calm and composed will be appreciated. Please do not advise me on picturing everyone in their underwear. That causes fits of giggles.
